Milo Community Agreement

Last Updated: [August 3, 2026]

Welcome to Milo.

Milo is a photo-sharing community built around self-expression, visual creativity, and exchanging perspectives with others.

We want Milo to be a place where people feel comfortable sharing their photos, expressing their opinions, discovering different styles, and interacting with others respectfully.

By using Milo's community features, you agree to follow this Community Agreement.

This Community Agreement forms part of the Milo Terms of Use.

1. Be Respectful

Milo encourages honest opinions and different perspectives.

You may like or dislike a photo, style, composition, mood, or creative choice, but your feedback must remain respectful.

You must not:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse another user

• Use degrading, humiliating, or excessively insulting language

• Target another person with repeated unwanted interactions

• Encourage others to attack or harass a user

• Post content intended primarily to shame or humiliate someone

• Make discriminatory or hateful statements based on protected characteristics

Disagreement is allowed. Personal attacks are not.

2. Focus Feedback on Photos and Creative Expression

Milo allows users to share opinions and feedback on photos.

Feedback should focus on areas such as:

• Composition

• Lighting

• Color

• Style

• Mood

• Visual presentation

• Creative choices

• Overall impression of the photo

Milo is not intended to be a platform for humiliating, degrading, or objectifying people.

Do not use Milo to organize or encourage abusive judgments about another person's body, appearance, identity, or personal characteristics.

3. Share Content You Have the Right to Share

You are responsible for the photos, comments, captions, profile information, and other content you upload or share on Milo.

You should only post content that:

• You created yourself

• You own

• You have permission to use and share

Do not upload content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

If your content includes another person, you should make sure you have the appropriate permission to share it where required.

4. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of others.

You must not post or disclose another person's sensitive or private information without permission, including:

• Home addresses

• Private phone numbers

• Personal email addresses

• Login credentials

• Financial information

• Government identification information

• Private messages

• Other non-public personal information

Do not use Milo to stalk, track, expose, or threaten another person.

5. No Illegal or Harmful Content

You may not use Milo to post, promote, request, or distribute content involving illegal or seriously harmful activity.

This includes content that:

• Promotes or facilitates criminal activity

• Contains credible threats of violence

• Encourages serious physical harm

• Promotes exploitation or abuse

• Involves fraud, scams, or deceptive schemes

• Contains malicious software or harmful links

• Violates applicable laws or regulations

We may immediately remove content or restrict accounts where serious safety or legal risks are involved.

6. No Hate or Discrimination

Milo does not allow content that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against people based on characteristics protected under applicable law.

This may include characteristics such as:

• Race

• Ethnicity

• Nationality

• Religion

• Sex

• Gender identity

• Sexual orientation

• Disability

• Other legally protected characteristics

Content discussing these topics is not automatically prohibited, but it must not be used to target or demean individuals or groups.

7. Sexual and Explicit Content

Do not upload content that contains illegal sexual material, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate content.

Content involving sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required.

Milo may also restrict sexually explicit or excessively graphic content even where such content is not illegal.

Because Milo is intended for users aged 18 and above, users must still comply with all applicable content restrictions and laws.

8. No Impersonation or Deception

You must not impersonate another person, organization, brand, or public figure in a misleading way.

You must not:

• Pretend to be another user

• Create accounts using false identities for abusive purposes

• Misrepresent your affiliation with another person or organization

• Use deceptive practices to manipulate other users

• Engage in coordinated fake engagement or fraudulent activity

Parody or fan accounts must not mislead users into believing they are official accounts.

9. No Spam or Manipulation

Do not use Milo to spam, manipulate engagement, or interfere with the community experience.

Prohibited behavior includes:

• Repeatedly posting unwanted promotional content

• Mass messaging users without a legitimate reason

• Using bots or unauthorized automated systems

• Artificially manipulating interactions or engagement

• Posting repetitive or irrelevant content across the platform

• Attempting to exploit platform features for fraudulent purposes

10. Community Interactions

Milo is built around participation.

When interacting with others:

• Be constructive when possible

• Respect different tastes and perspectives

• Avoid repeated unwanted contact

• Do not pressure users to interact with you

• Stop contacting a user if they clearly indicate they do not want further interaction

Users may report or block other users when they feel uncomfortable or believe a rule has been violated.

11. Reporting Content or Users

If you believe that content or behavior violates this Community Agreement, the Milo Terms of Use, or applicable law, you may report it through the reporting tools available in the app.

Reports may include concerns relating to:

• Harassment

• Abusive behavior

• Hate speech

• Privacy violations

• Illegal content

• Intellectual property infringement

• Spam

• Impersonation

• Other inappropriate behavior

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content or an account will automatically be removed.

We may review the relevant content, account activity, context, and applicable rules before taking action.

12. Blocking Users

Where blocking functionality is available, you may block another user to limit unwanted interactions.

Blocking may restrict that user's ability to interact with you or view certain account activity, depending on the functionality available in Milo.

Blocking a user does not necessarily remove content that has already been publicly shared.

You may also report the user if you believe they have violated Milo's rules.

13. Content Moderation

Milo may review, restrict, remove, disable, or otherwise take action against content that:

• Violates this Community Agreement

• Violates the Milo Terms of Use

• Violates applicable law

• Creates safety risks

• Infringes third-party rights

• Seriously disrupts the community experience

We are not required to proactively review all content before it is posted.

The fact that content remains available on Milo does not mean that Milo endorses or approves that content.

14. Account Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness, frequency, and context of a violation, Milo may take actions including:

• Issuing a warning

• Removing content

• Limiting certain features

• Restricting account visibility

• Temporarily suspending an account

• Permanently terminating an account

Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without prior warning.

Repeated violations may result in stronger enforcement.

15. Appeals and Errors

Moderation decisions may sometimes involve judgment and may not always be perfect.

Where Milo provides an appeal or review mechanism, users may request reconsideration of an enforcement decision.

We may restore content or account access if we determine that an enforcement action was made in error.

16. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that content posted on Milo infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a complaint with sufficient information for us to review the claim.

You should provide enough information to identify:

• The protected work or right

• The allegedly infringing content

• Your relationship to the protected material

• Your contact information

• Any other information reasonably required to review the complaint

False or abusive infringement reports may themselves violate Milo's rules.

17. AI-Generated or AI-Assisted Content

If Milo provides AI-powered features, users must not use those features to generate, facilitate, or distribute illegal, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or privacy-violating content.

AI-generated feedback or analysis may be subjective and should not be used as a justification to harass, demean, or target another person.

Users remain responsible for how they use and share AI-generated outputs.

18. Public Content

If you choose to make your content public on Milo:

• Other users may be able to view it

• Other users may react to or comment on it

• Other users may provide feedback on it

• The content may appear in community feeds or discovery features

Please think carefully before sharing content publicly.

You remain responsible for the content you choose to publish.

19. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your conduct on Milo and for the content you upload, publish, comment on, or otherwise share.

You are also responsible for complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Milo's community tools are intended to support expression and interaction, but users must exercise their own judgment when participating in the community.

20. Changes to This Community Agreement

We may update this Community Agreement from time to time to reflect changes to Milo, community standards, safety practices, legal requirements, or platform policies.

When appropriate, we may provide notice of material changes through Milo or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of Milo after an updated Community Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised rules to the extent permitted by applicable law.
